Album Covers

These experiments are the result of my daily design exercise. I start by choosing a typeface that I’ve never used before, and then—limiting myself to using only the textual elements on an album cover—I attempt to create interesting images with letterforms and basic geometric shapes.

These studies have taught me that extraordinary results can come from quick, intuitive design decisions and that there is great potential for image-making strategies using only letterforms.
